Delete your Nuvela account

Nuvela is an app by Dejan Horvat. You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or without it.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Apple or Google handle billing. Cancel first:

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open your Apple subscriptions
Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or open your Google Play subscriptions

In the app

Open Nuvela and go to the You tab
Tap Account and data
Tap Delete account, then confirm

Without the app

By email link

Enter your account’s email on our deletion page. We email you a link, and your account is deleted when you open it and confirm.

Request deletion

Or email [email protected] from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my account”.

What we delete

Draft — pending approval

Your account, training profile, health information (the body areas to go easy on and “this hurts” reports), workout logs, subscription status, feedback you sent in the app, your invite code, your place in any friend group, and any link to a training partner, so your partner stops seeing your week. We also ask RevenueCat, our subscription service, to delete your customer record. If you used Sign in with Apple, we revoke our access to your Apple sign-in.

What we keep, and for how long

Your data leaves our live database within 30 days, and our database’s recovery history within another 30 days.
Consent records (which consents you gave, when, and under which policy version, never the health information itself) are kept for up to 3 years after deletion, so we can show we had your consent. To fill in confirm 3 years
Support emails are kept for up to 24 months after our last message. To fill in confirm
Anything the law requires us to keep, only for as long as it requires.
Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their own policies.
